Hello,

My name is Young (Young Hwan) Na — a UX researcher and designer focused on inclusive design rooted in user stories and lived experiences. I’m also known as Cine Na, where I explore visual storytelling through videography and photography to inspire my creative process.

I hold an M.S. in Computational Media from UC Santa Cruz, where I spent two years in the Ph.D. program researching digital equity and broadband access in rural communities, and an M.S. in Human-Computer Interaction from Indiana University Bloomington.

My approach blends qualitative research, participatory design, and storytelling methods to create meaningful, human-centered experiences.

Bringing my design philosophy to life

I created a short video that reflects how I approach inclusive, learnable design. It blends my research mindset with my passion for visual storytelling — the same values I bring to my UX work.

ABOUT ME
